Minecraft marketplace

For our unit we get to play Minecraft. In Minecraft we have to cooperate to make money. My group had to answer these questions:

1. How is your group diversifying? (producing  a variety of products)

We grow wheat to make bread.  We plant birch trees to make wood for building.  We also grow sugar cane to make sugar which can be used eventually to make cake and cookies (which we haven't done yet).  We sell these products.

2. How is your group making the most of opportunities that occur in the marketplace? Give examples.

Different people want to buy different stuff.  For example, one person wanted to buy wood which was good for our group, but another person wanted to buy potatoes and carrots but we did not have those products.  We have sold a lot of bread too, but our group could make better opportunity in the marketplace by growing different stuff.

3. How is your group entrepreneurial, or how do you plan to be entrepreneurs? (What products or businesses are you creating to sell to others?)

We are entrepreneurial because we have invested in planting wheat and sugarcane, and we have sold the end products in the marketplace.  We plan on creating a music business by buying a guitar and playing music for people.  Nobody is doing that business now and we could be the first to do it.

4. What do you suggest your group do next week during Minecraft?

We want to buy more land to get trees, and chickens and cows to get eggs and milk.  We will also consider buying a guitar, but the guitar may cost a lot and we might not get much money for playing it so we may not buy it.
