Fossil Fuels
What are fossil fuels?
They can be Coal, oil and natural gas.
How are they made?
They are made up of tiny plants and animals that lived many years ago and they decomposed and slowly got buried under the earth. The combination of the pressure and the heat made them into fossil fuels.
How do humans use them?
They burn them and then they can power their homes and transportation.
Explain some of the problems that humans have caused by using these fossil fuels?
When we burn fossil fuels we make greenhouse gases that contributes to air pollution.
How can we take action to reduce their impact?
We can use water, wind and solar energy. We can use transportation that doesn't use much fossil fuels(use bicycles and walk or public transportation).
