The ocelot is an endangered carnivorous animal found under shady trees in south america, central america and Mexico. This animal can weigh up to 20 kilograms. It is twice the size of a house cat. It is estimated that there are 1.5 million ocelots left in the world. Ocelots are endangered because of hunting and poaching for their skin and they lose their habitats. They are also kept for trade.
