reflection on the last unit and our field trips
We have just completed our last unit, energy. We then did our presentation about a energy type of our choice, I did mine on fossil fuels which you can view here. I learn that energy is the ability to do work. Energy can not be destroyed, it can only be created and transferred. If I was do that again I would change the way I was unfocused and the way I kept talking with my friends.
Grade 4 went to Phnom Chisor, one hour drive from Phnom Penh. Phnom Chisor is a hill with an ancient Hindu temple and shrines dedicated to Buddha on the top of the hill (There are over 100 steps to the top) . The most interesting thing for me was seeing the strong, rectangular, brown stones of the Hindu temple in ruins.
Grade 4 went to a Catholic Church. The person that was there to tell us the information name was father Charlie. He told us all about the life of Jesus, from beginning to end. I made connections with another religion, Judaism. Both religions believe that there is one god and that god created the world.
Grade 4 went to a synagogue. There we met the Rabbi. He told us lots of Jewish facts. Judaism was the first monotheism religion. Monotheism religion means a religion that believes in one god.
